Great article and pictures! I didn't know that Mouse Surplus moved...the old location was pretty cramped, so I'm glad things are more spread out. I live near the OIA, so I'll be heading there soon!

Your Popups are incredibly obnoxious! And they're getting through both Firefox's blocker, AND Google Toolbar's!

Popups are not a reliable business model, please do your audience a favor and remove them from your site. No respectable site has this crap any more, what's wrong with you?

Agreed on the popups. Nobody is going to go to University of Phoenix because it pops up on your site. Please lose the pop ups.

I'm just wondering how much of a discount MouseSurplus gives y'all, because sometimes these articles are worse than the plugs on The Apprentice. Sure, it's fun to look at old memorabilia, but do we have to hear repeatedly about the shop every time?

Pop ups come with the territory, I would rather have pop ups than begginf for cash.
I like the old mouse stuff, however we here on the west coast feel a little left out sometimes.

1) You don't like these articles.............don't read them!!!! Some of us who live far from the store love these articles.
2) Does it really take that much energy to move your mouse and click the little "X" on the popup? Or if you want, just press ALT+F4. How lazy can you be? These popups bring JHM money. Get over it!

I'm one of those people who loves seeing this stuff. I have never been able to visit their store, but I became aware of it through this site and now go to scope out their auctions. Even though I haven't bought anything, I really enjoy seeing all of the amazing bits of Disney history that they've salvaged and that some lucky person can own. Why read the article just to complain? Skip over the Mouse Surplus stuff if you're not interested - I want more!

My points were:
A: I get two popups everytime I open an article. I'm not clicking on them, so no one is getting any money. But I have to take the time to raise them up so I can then close them. Annoying.
2. I like the Horizons and other stuff as much as the next freak. But not when the article is written as one big ad for the place.

That Fort Wilderness Sign is amazing! I also spent many happy weeks in Fort Wilderness after my family would pile into the car and make the trip from Minnesota. Seeing that sign really brings backs some good memories.

Jeff, Is that acetate you're holding marked "moon shot"? I believe it's the strip from the "body scan" machine in the space segment. There was an animatronic riding a bike upside down, a rowing machine, some shadows playing basketball, and a flat panel with a body shape on it. I believe that's where this strip comes from. It's a rear projection.

About the pop-ups. People, Jim's gotta get paid or we don't see anymore articles. Everytime a pop-up loads, Jim gets paid. It's not a whole lot trust me. Just let 'em load. You watch commercials on TV don't you? same thing. You even watch them on cable TV which you pay for anyway! Just be cool and click them off when they load. No problems.
