we went. I went as Tia Dalma, my friend as Elizabeth Swann. You can see our pics here.

I made my costume btw. From scratch. It was amazing.

"You & I both know that these aren't the "real" ghosts that you see in that Liberty Square attraction."
Not all of us know that- thanks for ruining the Disney magic... :-p

I went to Mickey's Not-So-Scary 2 or 3 weeks ago.  I had been before, but it was even more fun this year.  I was kind of scared by some of the characters in the parade (sometimes they get really close...), but the parade is one of the best.  Besides seeing the scary characters, it's great to see more obscure characters come out, such as Clara Cluck, Clarabelle Cow, and I think Horace Horsecollar was there, too.  If anybody can make it to WDW this season, and still get tickets, I would highly recommend this.  And- free candy.  A lot of it.  Enough said.

I went on my birthday and it was a lot of fun - I actually have posted an edited ~10 minute quicktime video of the parade on my site - click on Disney Blog and scroll down. It was the best Disney parade my wife and I ever saw... http://www.josephdickerson.com.

Lange - 12 pics    Greenyskp- 4837 pics   I'll let you do the math

Everyone should look at greenyskp's photos - few things in life are quite as satisfying as looking through someone else's Disney pics. Her costume is - as advertised - amazing from scratch - just like some sauces in the Boma buffet at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Clearly, she's ready to go on that Heidi Klum/one designer must be thrown off the island every week show. As long as she doesn't use the 'makeup by Kenmore power painter' technique every week.

But at some point we need a little common decency. What would Walt have done? Would he have included a picture of greenyskp wearing some face makeup and Nothing Else? Oh, I think not. Shocking. Hopefully John Lassetter will take a moment to edit your photo bucket.  :)   And for what it's worth - nice job on the Jasmine costume you made for your friend.

greenyskp- I saw that Zurg and Bo Peep!  I had just walked into Magic Kingdom, and they were on the left, and I thought that Zurg was actually a character to meet...I was shocked to find out that it was just someone dressed up.  And, your costumes were great!
