&lt;p&gt;It's funny, though ... that same exact quote about Felix the Cat and the circles appears in Walt Disney: The Triumph of the American Imagination by Neal Gabler.&lt;/p&gt;

I had never heard of this particular Disney web site so I'm headed there now. Many of my relatives knew Walt. Lillian, Sharon &amp;amp; Dianne so anything I can find is interesting. Now if I can only find a photo of Walt and Roy at my relatives amuseument park...Walt's deal was NO PICTURES. He and Lillian worked family vacations into their visits of parks (getting ideas for Disneyland) and my relatives honored that request. If anybody hears of an existing photo of Walt at San Francisco's Playland at the Beach, please let me know.&lt;/p&gt;
