I always wondered why Disney did those two Latin American pieces and over the years I have found more info behind "Saludos Amigos" & "The 3 Caballeros". This was a nice addition to the stories behind the works of Walt Disney.

I loved Donald and the llama and gaucho Goofy and I think the penguin story is from one of those two movies. Great colorful fun and a unique couple of films. Thanks for the story and congrats on the documentary.

Now I'm feeling sad that I don't live anywhere near San Fran.... but I'll be sure to buy Walt & EL Groupo if it is ever released on Blu-Ray or DVD.

I see in today's Best Buy ad that Disney released a DVD set with both Saludos Amigos and Three Caballeros. Looks like a good deal if you want both of them.

Yes, the Saludos Amigos and Three Caballeros combo DVD (coming out Tuesday) also includes a short, behind-the-scenes look at El Grupo and its Latin American journey.
