Okay. I know. Everyone already knows about Disneyland's "it's a small world" Holiday. How this Fantasyland favorite takes on a whole new look during the holiday season.

But how many of you are aware of what happens to "it's a small world" Holiday's exterior after the sun goes down? How the outside of this Disneyland show building erupts with colorful Christmas-related imagery every 15 minutes?

The way I understand it, this short projected holiday show is a brand-new feature at the "Merriest Place on Earth." It's something that was added to the Anaheim theme park for the 2005 holiday season.

More to the point, this extra added feature for "it's a small world" Holiday supposedly came about as a direct result on the new projectors that had recently been installed in this part of the theme park ...

... Which now allows the "it's a small world" plaza to become an additional viewing area for Disneyland's "Remember ... Dreams Come True" fireworks display.

What impressed me mosts about this new projection system is how precise it focuses in on the various features of "it's a small world" facade. I mean, take a look at the picture above. At how dead-on the line-up of this "Christmas colors" projection is.

This seasonal show -- while admittedly short -- is still worth catching the next time you're in the Anaheim theme park. I mean, how many times do you get to see the front of "it's a small world" covered with colorful wrapping paper?

Or get to see what this Fantasyland favorite would look like if it were made entirely of candy?

Sooo ... If you don't want to miss out on this colorful new addition at Disneyland, be sure to check out "it's a small world" Holiday the very next time you're at the "Merriest Place on Earth." When the facade of this Fantasyland favorite comes alive with clever Christmas-related imagery every 15 minutes.
