I have fond memories of Annette from the movies and television as well as the chance to interview here in 1992 right before she went public with her MS diagnosis. I was in Chesterbrook, PA as she was appearing on QVC. It was a Saturday afternoon in between shows and she and her husband Glen were most gracious with their time answering all of my Disney questions. I noticed when she walked into the room where I was seated waiting to conduct the interview that she was having difficulty walking but that did not deter her in giving me an extensive interview about her life and especially her time with the Mickey Mouse Club and Walt Disney. I respected her privacy and never did bring up the problem with walking just chalking it up to getting older. I had too much respect for her to ask about the obvious problem walking. I was stunned a few weeks later when she disclosed the diagnosis. Given her stardom, her career and her illness, she did not have to do the interview but it was one of my best interviews ever. She will be sadly missed. She indeed was a legend and a true original.

I totally agree, and I think they've already got that base covered. I heard the big idea for the sequel would be a prequel of sorts about how Roger originally starred in WWII propaganda shorts (a la Mickey, Bugs Bunny, etc.) and at some point Jessica is actually captured by the Nazis. That's naturally only a rumor, but it's been the big one surrounding any proposed Roger Rabbit sequel :)

And avoid at all costs the idea of replicating the complicated relationship that existed between Eddie and Roger with another character or recasting the role of Eddie... you can't just drop in another actor and create the same dynamic.

I hope the show works out much better than "Batman Live!" that I saw in Anaheim. The show wasn't a sell-out, but the tickets were awfully expensive. I was largely disappointed with the pondering storyline and the slow moving aerial acts. The highlight was the Batmobile, which isn't quite enough. Some of the fight scenes were amateurish. The best character was the Joker, but his magic acts were anti-climatic.

Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus and Disney On Ice have put on terrific shows in Anaheim and Long Beach. I enjoyed them a lot. I certainly hope they can bring something new and interesting with Marvel X-Men and Avengers.

He says the following of this attraction: "It's clumsy. While the technology and the appearance of Jack Sparrow was awesome, having to experience Pirates of the Carribean be reduced to crowding within a single, prop-cluttered room and "interacting" by stomping and yelling is not nearly as engaging to the average Guest as one may think. I feel the Pirate Tutorial at Magic Kingdom Park provides a much more satisfying experience for the young swashbucklers. This even comes with a more true-to-life Jack Sparrow and more of a sense of accomplishment when you receive your scroll congratulating you on finding your inner pirate." It sounds, though, as if they've got the same general plot, but this experience is more inclusive of everyone, not just the little ones.
