Why For? Well, though a website which calls itself Disney Casting posted a piece yesterday claiming that preliminary casting had already begun on this highly anticipated sequel, an unnamed source at the Studio was quick to dispute this claim. Pointing out the obvious errors that can be found in this bogus “Pirates 4” casting notice.

“They say that we’re looking to begin production by the late summer / early fall of this year. Which is wrong. Shooting isn’t officially supposed to get underway ‘til 2010. They’ve also got Gore Verbinski listed as this film’s director. Which – given that Gore officially announced to the trades last week that he’d be taking a pass on ‘Pirates 4’ – is just sloppy. Sorry to dash anyone’s hopes here. But this is clearly a hoax.”
So you can forget about heading out to your local multiplex during the Summer of 2010 and then catching Captain Jack Sparrow as he journeys “ … to a land unknown to mankind” and discovers “ … a new beginning of hell on earth.” That’s honestly not the real storyline for “Pirates 4.”
“And what is the real storyline?,” you ask. Sorry. But if I told you that, the folks at Disney Studios would absolutely kill me. And you know what they say ...

I understand if you can't tell the storyline of episode 4, but could you give us the storyline of episodes 2 and 3? I'm hoping episode 4 is "POC:an editor is found"

I honestly don't think there will be a POTC 4. Not without Jerry Bruckheimer.
POTC 2: In his usual shifty way, Jack Sparrow tries to get out of his debt to Davey Jones by gathering up other souls to take his place. Doublecrossing ensues. Will tries to save his dad and Norrington tries to regain his position. And Elizabeth manages to save everyone's skin while pulling off the biggest doublecross of them all.
POTC 3: Rescuing Jack, more avenues of doublecrossing with the Brethen Court introduction and presumed dead individuals returning amidst the desperate climate of a corporately-controlled group of fish-men, Attack of the 50 ft woman, and new beginnings for all the survivors- mostly bittersweet.
POTC 4: Please let the dinosaur rumors be true. :)
