"Life is what happens when you're busy making other
The late John Lennon included that line as part of his lyrics
for "Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)." And that sentiment is as true
today as it was back in 1980 when John originally wrote that line. Maybe even
Let's face it: When we're young, we all have these plans in
our heads about how our idealized lives & careers are supposed to go. But
then unexpected things happen. Obstacles suddenly crop up and that dream life,
that dream job, it gets deferred.
So are you one of those people who once dreamed of becoming
an Imagineer? Or -- at the very least -- a theme park designer? Maybe you took
a few design courses while you were in college. Maybe you were thinking about
eventually moving down to Orlando
or out to California to pursue
this dream. And to quote Harry Chapin, there were planes to catch and bills to
pay. And that dream of someday designing theme park rides somehow fell by the
Well, what if I were to tell you that you might have another
chance to achieve this dream? But in order to become a theme park designer at
this point in your life, you'd really have to seize the moment. Or should I say
seize the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that the producers of USA Network's
new unscripted reality series, "The MOMENT," are now making available
to theme park enthusiasts.
Now to be specific here, the Hochberg Ebersol Company is searching
for an individual who has always dreamed of becoming a theme park designer.
With the hope that they'll then be able to give this person a shot at making their
dream come true.
Mind you, the producers of "The MOMENT" aren't
going to give this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to just anyone. They're
looking for someone who has a great personal story to tell, who's genuinely
passionate about theme parks & design but has never (not until now, that
is) really had a chance to pursue this dream because life somehow got in the

Does that sound like you and/or a loved one? Well, if you'd
like to nominate yourself and/or someone you know for this opportunity, you
need to send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org ASAP. And in that e-mail, you
need to tell the casting department at the Hochberg Ebersol Company
But more importantly, you need to tell the folks who are
putting together "The MOMENT" (Which -- FYI -- debuts on the USA
Network on Thursday, April 11th at 10 p.m.,
9 p.m. Central) your story. Why
you're the ideal person to get this opportunity.

Now the fine print: The ideal candidate that "The
MOMENT" 's producers are looking for should be at least 21 years old. More
to the point, they must have -- at some point in their life -- been derailed somehow from pursuing their dream of a career in theme park design.
To be specific here, the Hochberg Erbersol Company is looking for a person who
already has the necessary skill set to succeed in themed entertainment but never
had the opportunity to use these skills in pursuit of their dream career.
After reviewing all of these e-mails, the folks at "The
MOMENT" production office will then cast one person for each career
opportunity. Each of these people will then star in their own hour-long
unscripted reality show that chronicles their pursuit of his or her dream job.
The Hochberg Ebersol Company plans on pairing each candidate with a highly
acclaimed mentor for their chosen field. That mentor will then train this
individual for 10 days straight and help prepare them for a job interview of a
lifetime. Each candidate will then have an interview with a well established
company in that field. And if this person performs well, they will then legitimately
be offered a position in that company.
Now to assure you folks that "The MOMENT" is
actually on the up & up (More to the point, so you'll then get some sense
of what you possibly might be getting yourself into), you should head over to
this USA Network show's website. Where they now have a full episode of this new
unscripted reality series available for viewing out ahead of "The
MOMENT" 's April 11th premiere.
In this sneak preview episode (which is hosted by legendary
NFL quarterback Kurt Warner), you'll meet a man who was once on track to become
an Olympic sailor but who then got thrown off-course by a life event. "The
MOMENT" gives this man a second chance by pairing him with an Olympic
sailing coach. And after ten days of
training, this individual was given the opportunity to try-out for the USA
Olympic Sailing Team.
As for what happens next ... Well, in order to find out,
you're going to have either watch that sneak preview episode of "The
MOMENT" website or catch this new unscripted reality series when it
premieres on the USA Network early next month. But know this: Would-be Olympic
sailors and theme park designers aren't the only people that The Hochberg
Ebersol Company plans on offering second chances to. Among the individuals who
will also be given opportunities to once again pursue their dream careers are
people who used to be on their way to becoming ...
... but then found themselves pushed off of that career path
because life somehow got in the way.
"The MOMENT" sounds like it as the making of a
heart-warming, feel-good television show. Something kind of along the lives of
ABC's "Exterior Makeover Home Edition." So if you're someone who has always
dreamed of becoming a theme park designer, who studied, hoped and planned only
to then get tripped up by one of those obstacles that life sometimes throws in
our way ... Here's your second chance. So why not send the Hochberg Ebersol
Company an e-mail and then see what happens?
The writes up that can help building my dream career. Love this intelligence!
