You may have noticed that it's been kind of quiet in this
corner of the Web over the past week.
Well, there's a reason for that. You see, though JHM has
some wonderful contributors (Floyd Norman, Leon Holzer and Roger Colton among
them), this website is basically a two person operation. With myself and Nancy
Stadler churning out 90% of the crud that you read here.
And for the past two weeks or so, JHM has been a one man
operation because Nancy has been down in Georgia dealing with her Dad. Who's
been battling liver cancer for the past 2 ½ years.
That battle is now over. Richard passed away this past
Monday night. And Mr. Stadler went the way that he wanted to go. At home with
his two daughters there to help him.
Anyway … As you might expect, what with the memorial service
and the funeral, Nancy and my dance card is kind of full for the next few days.
Which is you probably shouldn't expect to see any new content posted on this
site 'til Sunday.
Don't worry. JHM will be back up to full strength shortly.
We've got some really great stories planned for the month of February. Though I
expect that it won't be 'til the latter part of next week that this site then resumes
its usual 5-new-stories-each-week publishing schedule.
So thanks in advance for your kindness, patience &
understanding. Nancy and I will be back soon, okay?
