Ben Kingsley cast as the voice of Bagheera in Disney’s upcoming The Jungle Book 2015

Kingsley (Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Iron Man 3) joins:


– Scarlett Johansson (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Avengers, Iron Man 2) as the voice of Kaa

– Idris Elba (Thor, Thor: The Dark World) as the voice of Shere Khan


– Lupita Nyong’o (Star Wars: Episode VII) as the voice of Rakcha.

Directed by Jon Favreau from a script by Justin Marks, The Jungle Book combines live action and animated filmmaking. 

The Jungle Book arrives in theaters in 3D on October 9, 2015.
