Could we see a king-sized character in Disney “Descendants 2” ?

Look, I really don't want to be that guy. Especially since I
just wrote an article for HuffPost that talked about how Kenny Ortega and his creative team
got the Disney-related details right on "Descendants." But then I was told to take a closer look at the map
of the United States of Auradon that makes a brief appearance at the very start
of this Disney Channel Original Movie.

Given that there's a Bald
Mountain stashed in the mountain
range behind Auradon Prep, it's clear that whoever put together this map wanted
to cram as many well-known Disney-related land masses into this image as
possible.

Which is why — if
you look off to the right on this map of the United States of Auradon — it's
not all that surprising to see Skull Island.
Because that's where Captain Hook & Mr. Smee took Tiger Lily … right?

Wrong. The skull-shaped island that's featured on
"Peter Pan" is actually Skull Rock.

Whereas Skull Island …

… you know who lives there, right?

But then it occurred to me. Given that — since 6.6 million
people viewed "Descendants" this past Friday night — "Descendants
2" is pretty much a lock at this point. So maybe Kenny & Co.
are looking to do something interesting with the sequel to this Disney Channel
Original Movie.

Just kidding … I think.

And speaking of sequels: Thanks to the nice folks at Disney
