Hello everyone and Happy New Year! I am happy once again to share with you all some of the great new releases of our favorite Big Figs, especially with new characters to come in the first part of 2005. There are some great ones already out on the market and more to come.
I want to thank you all for enjoying my passion for collecting our Big Friends. Keeping you up to date, I am working on correcting the checklist. Also under construction is the addition of a Gallery site with all the pictures as well as a price guide for them.
There have been some retirements also since the last article. Lady & the Tramp and Cinderella are now retired. Mickey & Minnie Mistletoe and Tink Snowflake are sold out.

New releases in January were Scrooge and Chip & Dale. In February, you can expect Mr. Toad and Animal Kingdom’s Tree of Life. March will see the first Lilo Big Figure, a new Stitch and a new version of Minnie Mouse. In April, there will be a special 50 th Anniversary Castle edition. I will share pictures of these as soon as I get them.

The Snow White has each of the Seven Dwarves around the base (and they all are illuminated) as well as the forest animals (which are magnetic) placed around the base. Her cloak is flocked. The Fantasyland attractions piece is wonderful! A truly wonderful representation of some of our favorites dark rides including Snow White, Peter Pan, Mr. Toad and Pinocchio. It lights up and comes with the weather vanes that are also magnetic.

“He Speaks For Me…” with Chip & Dale
Disney Direct has some great releases on the way Sorcerer Mickey with a Globe, Mickey Mouse Club Trumpet, The Three Caballeros, Pluto, Mickey Goes to Disneyland and The Electric Light Parade – all with delivery dates to be announced through May.

So I hope these all are exciting for you as they were when I first saw them. This year, they are doing a lot of great things with them lights, sound, movement. I am sure that there will be many pieces that certainly will become your favorites.
I’ve recently begun cataloging my own Big Fig collection. That’s one big challenge as you may know! Here’s a sample of some of them I want to share with you all.
