Disney Channel and Disney XD announce open casting call in Richmond, VA July 9th

 

Casting Directors Searching for Talented Young Actors,
Actresses,

Singers and Dancers Ages 10-18 for Upcoming Series and
Movies

Disney Channel and
Disney XD today announced an open casting call in Richmond, Virginia, to give
promising new actors and actresses an opportunity of a lifetime to audition for
casting representatives.

 

"We are always on the lookout
for young talent and the opportunity to help make their dreams come true," said
Judy Taylor, senior vice president, Casting and Talent Relations, Disney
Channels Worldwide. "This official open casting call offers the chance for
participants to showcase their comedic acting ability and/or singing and
dancing experience to our representatives for consideration in upcoming series
and movies produced for Disney Channel and Disney XD."

 

The open casting
call registration and auditions will be held on July 9, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, 403 North Third Street in Richmond, Virginia. An application and a monologue will be provided
upon arrival.

 

Talented kids who
can play characters between the ages of 10-18 and who can act, dance or sing
are invited to the open call. There is no fee to audition and minors must be
accompanied by a parent or guardian.

 

This official open
call is among Disney Channel's and Disney XD's few annual casting searches in
the United States. There are no guarantees
of employment.
