Disney insiders say that updated edition of Hall of Presidents will seem very familiar to fans of this WDW show

As Walt Disney World gets ready to show off its latest addition – “Pandora – The World of Avatar,” that new 12-acre “land” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom (which opens to the public on May 27th) – to the world press, those close to the Mouse House also want to clear up some confusion surrounding one of this Resort’s oldest attractions. And that’s The Hall of Presidents.

This patriot pageant (which has been entertaining visitors to the Magic Kingdom since that theme park first opened back in October of 1971) has been the subject of much rumor & speculation over the past few days. Largely because there have been questions raised about how the current Commander-in-Chief will be presented when this Liberty Square attraction re-opens to Guests later this year.

According to Disney insiders that I have spoken with, the Imagineers are proceeding as they have in the past. And when the Hall of Presidents does re-open later this year (The previously announced June 30th re-opening for this Magic Kingdom attraction has been pushed back to a yet-to-be-determined date), it should seem very familiar to fans of previous editions of this show.

So does that mean that – like the Audio Animatronic versions of President Bill Clinton, President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama before him – that President Trump will give a short speech over the course of this 23 minute-long presentation? “More information will be forthcoming,” said a Disney source.
