Disney Interactive Media Group’s Playdom Launches Program to Help the People of Japan

Playdom community rallies support by donating to the American Red Cross

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — Playdom today announced a program with the American Red Cross to support their efforts in helping those affected by the earthquake in Japan and tsunami throughout the Pacific.

As part of the program, which will run for 10 days, Playdom has set up a website on which people can donate directly to the American Red Cross.   As a way to thank the Playdom community and remind them of the program, Playdom will be giving away virtual items in six different games over the coming weeks.
