Disney’s “Get A Horse!” to be screened next Tuesday at Annecy Animation Festival

Hey, guys!

Check out this cool poster for Walt Disney Animation Studios, "Get A
Horse!"

Just so you know, this never-before-seen short is making its world debut at the
Annecy Animation Festival in Annecy, France.
And to quote the WDAS press release that I received earlier this morning,
"Get A Horse!" stars …

… the one and only Mickey Mouse and featuring Walt Disney
himself as the voice of the iconic character. This black-and-white, hand-drawn
short follows Mickey, his favorite gal pal Minnie Mouse and their friends
Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow as they delight in a musical wagon ride-until
Peg-Leg Pete shows up and tries to run them off the road.

FYI: While I was in LA last month for a Disney "Planes"
media event (Speaking of which, look for some stories by yours truly about that
Walt Disney Pictures release on JHM and HuffPo in the coming weeks. I got to
sit down with the nice folks at Disneytoon Studios back in May to discuss in
depth this brand-new animated feature. Which really is a smart extension / expansion
of the "Cars" universe), I wandered over to Walt Disney Animation
Studios and  got a sneak peek at this
animated short. Which is a classic in every sense of the word.

That's all I'm going to say about "Get A Horse!" Other
than to mention that this toon is well worth going out of your way ( like — say
— all the way to France)
to see. Which is why I just can't wait to hear what Annecy
attendees have to say about this animated short.
