It has been looking like Christmas since July at your local
Hallmark Gold Crown store. This past
summer just in time for Christmas in July, Hallmark rolled out their annual
line of Keepsake ornaments helping not only to mark the holidays but celebrate
a milestone or create a new memory. This
year the Keepsake ornaments mark their 40th year by “… turning your
memories into magic.”

Playing a major role once again this year as in the past,
Disney takes center stage with an extensive ornament product line from Mickey
Mouse to Monsters University. Your Disney favorites are starring in dozens
of products from tree decorations to plush.
For years Hallmark has captured the magic of Disney in
ornaments from the classic characters to new animated features. This year in addition to ornaments, Mickey,
Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy are featured in Disney’s Wireless Band. Each animated character holds an instrument and
plays two songs and when synchronized with the other band members plays a total
of 10 songs as a group. Each band member
retails for $15.95 with any purchase. Minnie,
Donald and Goofy are already on store shelves with Mickey and Daisy joining the
band in the next few weeks.

Jen Seyller, product director for Hallmark Gold Crown, says
technology and a touch of magic have been added to many of their products, “To
help these cherished Disney characters and their stories come to life and make
the holidays brighter for our customers.”
The wireless band line is nothing new for Hallmark since
they have rolled out previous versions featuring angels and most recently the
Peanuts gang in 2012. This year however
the Disney character figures are a bit larger to accommodate the base-playing
Goofy who stands a bit taller than previous band member figures. In order to make an accurate
scale-representation of the Disney gang, they slightly increased the size of
the line for a better appearance.

If the Nutcracker Suite is part of your holiday tradition,
check out Hallmark’s Disney Nutcracker Sweets, feature Mickey, Minnie, Donald
and Goofy. Candy details adorn each
button-activated plush character as each one plays a different segment of one
of the songs from “The Nutcracker.”

Goofy is the newest push-button activated plush featuring the Goofster,
completed with Santa hat and suit, singing a parody of “Up on the
Housetop.” If you tickle Goofy during
his rendition of the holiday classic, he will burst into laughter.
