First, let’s start with the news that everyone has been waiting to hear: Florida’s freak cold snap appears to be over.
After this past weekend, where the temperatures got so low that a few spots in Central Florida
had scattered snow flurries, we’ll be back in the 60’s later today and the mid-to-high 70’s by Saturday!

Of course, after the past week of unseasonable temperatures, it’s going to take something really special to lure Floridians out of their heated homes and back into the great outdoors. This is why the Walt Disney World Resort couldn’t have picked a better time to roll out its new 4-Day Disney Dream Pass.
Now, this special ticket offer is aimed strictly at Florida Residents that – because they live right next door to the Mouse – sometimes need an extra incentive in order to go visit Disney’s theme parks.

But when you consider what a bargain the Dream Pass is ($99 gets you 4 one day, one park admissions to any of the 4 Walt Disney World theme parks. With the child’s version of the Disney Dream Pass going for just $84), this is one limited-time offer that Florida Residents may not be able to pass up.
There are a few conditions and restrictions. The 4-Day Dream Pass is valid now through March 26th. There’s then a brief blockout period to accommodate the crowds for Spring Vacation, but after that, your Disney Dream Pass can be used for one-day, one-park visits from April 10th through May 25th.

Mind you, you’ll need to provide proof of Florida residence before you’ll be allowed to purchase the 4-Day Dream Pass and the passes are not transferable. You will need to purchase them by May 21, 2010.
If you’re a Florida resident, for just $99, you can enjoy all of the color and excitement of Epcot’s International Flower & Garden Festival which runs from March 3rd – May 16th this year. You can get up-close and personal with your favorite Star Wars characters at Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios starting May 21st
this year.

Better yet, you can drop by Disney’s Animal Kingdom and not only celebrate Earth Day but also the 12th anniversary of the theme park’s opening. Or you can just head on over to the Magic Kingdom, where – thanks to recently revamped attractions like The Hall of Presidents and Space Mountain – every day is a special occasion.
The best part is, if you’d like to turn your 4-Day Dream Pass into a Park Hopper and/or fold in a Water Park Fun or More option, it’s totally doable.
