Explore Sharks at SEA LIFE® Carlsbad Aquarium

Did you know that sharks can go through as many as 30,000 teeth
in its lifetime? Or that sharks have been around for more than 400 million years? SEA LIFE® Carlsbad Aquarium at
LEGOLAND® California Resort celebrates the ocean’s top
predator during Shark Week, August 12 – 19. Guests visiting the
Aquarium will enjoy a shark scavenger hunt, themed Puppet Show, a
special Daily Dive Show at 10:30 a.m. and craft activities from 11 a.m.
to 4 p.m.

Interactive Experience at SEA LIFE® Carlsbad Aquarium
In
honor of Shark Week starting August 12, SEA LIFE officially launches
its
newest exhibit highlighting one of San Diego’s local ocean residents,
the leopard shark. The interactive attraction is designed to introduce
children to these mysterious and misunderstood creatures that migrate to
local shores. Fun, hands-on displays give an up-close and personal look
at
the life cycle and behaviors of leopard sharks.

California Coastal Cleanup Day September
15
SEA LIFE will take part in California Coastal Cleanup Day
Saturday, September 15 from 9am to noon. Employees from SEA LIFE and LEGOLAND®
California join thousands of volunteers in picking up
debris from our local beaches in an effort to improve the overall health
of our beaches, bays, parks, canyons and open space areas. California
Coastal
Cleanup volunteers are asked to register in advance at www.cleanupday.org.
