Life can really throw you some curves sometimes.
Which is why – as 2010 draws to a close – a lot of us are probably looking for a spectacular way to put this bad old year behind us. Start the New Year off right by kicking up your heels and/or shaking your booty at some spectacularly exclusive party.

And if that’s really what you’re looking to do this year, have your 2010 end well … Well, has Best of Vegas got a deal for you? This New Year’s Eve, we can actually put you in close proximity to Reality TV star Kim Kardashian (i.e. that spectacular-looking young lady who’s often been praised for her … But let’s not get into that now …) at an exclusive party which is going to held at The Venetian. To be specific, inside of TAO. This is one of Las Vegas’ most popular night clubs.
“So what’s TAO like?,” you ask. Picture this: An exquisitely designed 42,000 square-foot Asian-themed space filled Buddha statues and Koi fish ponds. Now cleave that space in half, creating two distinct rooms featuring varying music formats. Then fold in some state-of-the-art audio & lighting systems as well as some gorgeous go-go dancers. And did I mention that 40 foot-long outdoor terrace which gives visitors to TAO a spectacular view of the Las Vegas Strip?

So – obviously – TAO sounds a great place to party any night of the year. But for New Year’s Eve, the folks at The Venetian have really kicked things up a notch. How so? Well, there’ll be an open bar and passed hors d’oeuvres from 9 – 11 p.m. Plus a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. And after midnight, if you’d like a change of scenery … Well, you can use your TAO ticket to gain access to LAVO. This is yet another exclusive Las Vegas hotspot (that was designed by the exact same team that did TAO, FYI) which is located just across the way at The Palazzo.
And given that Kim K. and her kicking curves will be serving as the host of this seasonal shindig, you can bet that New Year’s Eve at TAO is going to be one of the hottest tickets in town. And if you’re thinking of heading to Vegas to get in on this party … Well, luckily I know some nice folks who can then set you up with some tickets.

But this being Vegas and all, there will be a few terms & conditions when it comes to gaining access to this one-night-only event:
- Proper dress is required. All gentlemen must be wearing a collared, button-up short and dress shoes if they expect to be allowed into TAO’s New Year’s Eve celebration. More importantly, this nightclub’s management reserves the right to decline entry to any Guest that it deeds not to be properly dressed.
- Given that both TAO and LAVO are 21+ venues, no minors will be admitted to this hard ticket party. Conversely, nightclub management reserves the right to refuse entry to any ticketholders who – upon arrival at the venue – appear to be visibly intoxicated.

- Beyond that, tickets for TAO’s New Year’s Eve party will be held at the Venetian’s box office right up until midnight tomorrow night. And Guests must produce a valid photo ID for each ticket for the event that they purchase.
- And – as you might expect – both the TAO nightclub at the Venetian as well as the LAVO at the Palazzo reserve the right to decline entry should either or both of these New Year’s Eve parties reach capacity. So if you don’t want to miss out on any of tomorrow night’s fun, it might be wise to get to this venue early.

But if you can live with these terms & conditions, “All’s well that ends well” I guess. At least when it comes to TAO’s New Year’s Eve party, which – as I mentioned — will be hosted by Reality TV star Kim Kardashian.
Here’s hoping that I didn’t gross you guys out with all of today’s not-so-veiled references to Kim K’s gluteus maximus. But when it comes to butt jokes, it’s easy to make an ass of yourself.
