May lightning strike me dead if I’m not telling the truth here

Hey, folks

Jim Hill here. I want to apologize for JHM being a bit slim, content-wise, these past few days. But you see – early Sunday evening – a huge bolt of lightning struck very close to the house. Which did a very good job of scrambling the computer set-up that Nancy & I have in our home office .

For the 36 hours or so, Nancy and I have been working closely with the folks at Adelphia as we try & pick up the pieces here. Trying to figure out how that lightning strike got around all of our surge surpressors and totally messed with our modem.

With any amount of luck, things should be back to normal (if you call what we do here normal) at JimHillMedia by Wednesday. Thursday at the absolute latest.

Again, I apologize for the somewhat slender selection of stories these past two days (That said, I’m still extremely grateful to Eric Craven & Chris Barry for stepping up to the plate when it just wasn’t physically possible for me to file any new articles on the site).

Thanks in advance for all your patience and understanding. Hopefully, we’ll be back up to full speed in a day or so.

Talk to you later, okay?
