"N.B.T.," a daily multiplatform feature that launched the careers of Kicking Daisies, Coco Jones and Hollywood Records recording artists Allstar Weekend, puts the spotlight on aspiring young recording artists and provides them with the chance to showcase their music across national broadcast and online platforms. Over the course of 10 weeks, Radio Disney and Disney Channel audiences will be invited to look, listen and vote for their favorite artist at RadioDisney.com or on the Radio Disney Facebook page (Facebook.com/RadioDisney), or text* "NBT" to DISNEY (347639).  The winner will have their single released by Disney Music Group.

"'N.B.T.' embodies Radio Disney's core values of providing entertaining and interactive content that kids and families can experience together,"  said Sean Cocchia, senior vice president and general manager, Radio Disney.  He added, "With the fourth season, we are introducing new voting elements to our contest which will allow our fans to help decide which of the talented young artists will move to the next round."

Each artist will receive equal play and exposure, and at the end of each round, will face elimination based on listener votes.  Listeners will be allowed one registered vote per artist per day per format.  The winning N.B.T. artist will be named in December.

Exclusively on Radio Disney during the rounds of competition, each artist will have their single on the playlist, and join on-air personalities Ernie D and Jake Whetter in studio for interviews and performances.  Simultaneously, Disney Channel will present a preview of each artist and a sampling of their musical talent in interstitials hosted by Jake. Each artist will also have two full songs, exclusive videos, photos and bios on RadioDisney.com. Videos will also be featured on Disney.com, the N.B.T. mobile website (http://radiodisney.mobi/nbt), and Radio Disney's YouTube Channel (www.youtube.com/radiodisney).

She added, "We've had the opportunity to meet tremendous talent over the past six months of 'N.B.T.' auditions and this season's artists represent some of the best young talent in the country.  We look forward to showcasing them. "
