When you're in Las Vegas, access is always an issue.
The Venetian Las Vegas
Whether it's trying to decide which end of the Strip you
should stay on (so that you can then have easy access to your favorite resorts
& casinos) or what type of room you should book for your stay (Staying at
the concierge level is admittedly a bit pricier. But on the other hand, it will
then make it that much easier for you to score reservations & seats for
some of Las Vegas' hottest restaurants and shows), you always want to take
ease-of-access into consideration while planning a trip to Sin City .
But that said, if you're one of those do-it-yourselfers and
the very idea of getting a concierge involved with your Vegas vacation plans
genuinely offends you … Well, there are ways to guarantee access to some of Las
Vegas' more-exclusive venues. Especially if you're willing to do a little
advance planning.
Take – for example – the upcoming Labor Day Weekend. This is
traditionally a time when Las Vegas is awash with tourists. Each of them
determined to squeeze one last little bit of fun out of Summer. Which is why
it's almost impossible over this three-day period to get into some of the
Strip's more popular hot spots. Unless – of course – you've planned ahead and
purchased something like the TAO Las Vegas Labor Day Weekend Pass.

"And what is a TAO Las Vegas Labor Day Weekend Pass?," you ask. To put this in Disney-related terms that JHM readers are sure to understand, think of this Labor Day Weekend Pass as a FastPass to one of Sin City's more popular resorts. A way to jump ahead of all those Labor Day visitors who are holding General Admissions media for the Venetian's nightclubs & pool area through a separate VIP entrance.
And if you can make it to TAO Beach on Saturday, September 3rd, you can bring your Summer to a tuneful close by listening to LMFAO perform some of their hit songs poolside. Or if you'd prefer to catch this Grammy-nominated Electro-Hop duo in a more music-friendly venue, you can always catch LMFAO later that same night in TAO (the nightclub) at the Venetian.
Truth be told, the Labor Day fun actually begins a few days
ahead of schedule at TAO. What with German DJ, musician and electronic music
producer ATB holding court in the Venetian's nightclub on Thursday, September
1st while superstar DJ Cedric Gervais spins in this very same space on Friday,
September 2nd. With Columbian-America DJ Erick Morillo coming on in on Sunday,
September 4th to serve up a whole new set of tunes.

And while you're enjoying all of this wild wall-to-wall
music, you can take in TAO's Asian-inspired décor (like that 20-foot-tall
Buddah and those monk statues that guard the bar). And speaking of the bar … If
you'd like to feel like a real celebrity while you're enjoying your TAO Las Vegas Labor Day Weekend Pass, you can always spring for European bottle
service. Or – better yet – reserve yourself a premium skybox at this nightclub.
So you'll then have an unobstructed view when electronic music producers the EC
Twins take to the stage at this nightclub. Not to mention California favorite
DJ Vice and house music producer Robbie Rivera.
And if all those nights of partying at TAO in the Venetian
have left you feeling rather parched, you can always hydrate and rejuvenate by
spending a day at TAO Beach. Where – depending on how deep your wallet is – you
can snooze on an Asian-inspired day bed which is hidden away inside of a lavish
cabana. Where you can dine on fine cuisine from the TAO Grill and sip signature
cocktails that are quickly whipped up by the Venetian's crack Food &
Beverage team.
Of course, to get the full experience here, you should
probably consider booking a room at either the Venetian Las Vegas Casino, Resort & Hotel, or the Palazzo Las Vegas. But given how centrally located
these two hotels are, where you'll basically be within walking distance of some
of Sin City's most popular tourist attractions (i.e.The Mirage Volcano, The
Sirens of TI and the Fountains at Bellagio)
… Again, we're talking about primo access here.
The Venetian Las Vegas
In short, if you're looking to avoid long lines and/or
laboring at all over your Labor Day Weekend, the Venetian Resort & Casino
is where you want to spend September 1st – 5th. Where – thanks to the TAO Las Vegas Labor Day Weekend Pass – you can enjoy a virtually hassle-free trip to
Las Vegas.
And if you're looking to get your hands on one of these
special All-Access passes … I think I know some folks who can help you out.
That said, please keep in mind that the TAO Las Vegas Labor
Day Weekend Pass does come with some restrictions. This all-access passes can only be used for
entry to the TAO Nightclub during normal business hours September 1st – 3rd,
TAO Beach September 1st – 4th and Lavo Nightclub from September 2nd – 4th.
Please keep in mind that TAO Beach, TAO Nightclub and LAVO Nightclub are 21+
venues and that proper dress is required for all entries.
