Guests strolling through Hogwarts castle will encounter the
house points hourglasses. Featured in the Harry Potter
films, the hourglasses record the points earned or lost by members of the four
Hogwarts houses throughout the school year – scarlet represents Gryffindor,
blue represents Ravenclaw, green represents Slytherin and yellow represents Hufflepuff.
