UNIVERSAL ORLANDO HONORS VETERANS WITH IN-PARK PARADE
Multi-Branch Color Guard, Marching Band, Flag-Raising Part of Mid-Day Ceremony
WHAT: Universal Orlando Resort’s Veterans Network – comprised of more than 400 team members who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces – will honor all veterans by marching together in a special in-park parade to commemorate Veteran’s Day on Thursday, Nov. 11.
In addition to Universal Orlando veterans, the parade will also include members of the Armed Forces reserve, the Orlando Police Department, the Orlando Fire Department, the National Guard, American Legion, area High School ROTC’s Multi-Branch Color Guard, the Jones High School marching band, local veterans associations and Universal Orlando characters and performers. During the parade, there will be a ceremonial flag-raising. In the afternoon, there will be a private lunch for Universal’s veterans.
