Fans Can Watch Grand Opening Live Online from a Model Shop Camera!
In less than 24 hours, Star Wars™ Miniland opens at LEGOLAND® California. For the first time ever, the Park invites fans both near and far, far away to watch live, in real time, the preparations for an opening event via Web Cam.
Fans may visit www.LEGOLAND.com/webcam to enjoy the view from the top of the Model Shop as our Master Model Builders, animators and landscape artists put the finishing touches on the seven scenes in Star Wars Miniland. Web cam viewers will also have a bird’s eye view of the exclusive Star Wars Miniland Opening Ceremony March 31 at 9:15 a.m., just before the area officially opens to the public.
The Opening of Star Wars Miniland features celebrity guests as well as nearly 60 members of the 501st Legion of stormtroopers helping to unveil 2,000 LEGO models from six STAR WARS scenes and a scene from the animated series STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS.
The Web Cam will remain in place indefinitely, giving fans a unique view of LEGOLAND California’s newest area.
