Who was that masked beaver-duck? “Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel” trailer debuts on the Disney Channel Friday night

There are a lot of reasons to tune in to the Disney Channel on Friday, June 7th. Chief among these being that there's a brand-new episode of "Phineas and Ferb" premiering on at 9 p.m. ET / PT.

Of course, as exciting as it's going to be to hear improv comedy master Wayne Brady do a guest spot on this acclaimed animated series (Wayne will be voicing the Danville City Hall guide disrupts Candace's lunchtime date with Jeremy in the "Where's Pinky?" portion of tomorrow night's program), the really big news is the premiere of the trailer for "Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel."

This epic  television event (which will air on a yet-to-be-revealed date sometime later this Summer) is the first-ever crossover between Marvel and Disney properties. It follows Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor and Hulk as they journey to Danville after Dr. Doofenshmirtz's latest "inator" scheme accidentally removes all of their powers. And who do these superheroes turn to for help? You guessed it. Phineas & Ferb.

What's that you say? You just can't wait 'til tomorrow night to see the "Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel" trailer? Well, aren't you lucky that the Disney Channel just happened to slip JHM a copy of this choice chunk of footage 24 hours early? So now you can watch to see this trailer ahead of everyone else.

You can thank me (and the nice folks at the Disney Channel) later. In the meantime, enjoy watching the Red Skulk wondering aloud who " … that masked beaver-duck" is.
