Disney Channel Launches “Fish Hooks” Game for iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch

— Fish Hooks Available Now from the App Store —
Disney/ABC
Television Group's Digital Media team is launching "Fish Hooks," a new
physics-based puzzle game for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch based on the
popular Disney Channel series of the same name. The game is available
for free from the App Store in more than 70 countries.
Fish
Hooks features Milo the fish and a host of his aquatic friends from
Freshwater High. In the game, the ever "crabby" Randy Pincherson lives
up to his mischievous ways, challenging Milo to an elaborate obstacle
course game that he has created. Players assume the role of Milo and
must master the art of making and popping bubbles to successfully
navigate the treacherous waters of Randy's diabolical design. Fish Hooks
voice talent Kyle Massey (Milo) and Joshua Sussman (Randy) provide the
voice over for the game.
Players will float,
fall and fling themselves through the mazes to advance, all while
maneuvering with great precision. Perfect timing and puzzle solving
skills are essential to avoid the increasingly difficult obstacles and
master all of the underwater moves needed to win.
Game features include:
* Over 50 levels of marine madness
* The ability to unlock 5 of Milo's best friends that can be used as player characters in the game
* Master the art of bouncing off turtles* Surf whirlpools, fly through tubes and free fall
* Collect apples in each level and to get the highest score
* Beat Randy Pincherson at his own game and win back the trophy
Fish
Hooks is an inventive animated comedy series, set inside a giant fish
tank in Bud's Pet Shop. It presents high school life as seen through the
eyes of three BFFs (best fish friends), Bea, Milo and Oscar. Together
they experience life's typical challenges and triumphs, including
friendship, dating and sports, along with more atypical situations such
as giant lobster attacks and, with the use of special land suits, school
field trips to the hamster cages. The series was created by children's
book illustrator Noah Z. Jones and features a notable voice cast,
including: Chelsea Kane ("Baby Daddy," "Dancing with the Stars") as Bea,
Kyle Massey ("Dancing with the Stars," "Cory in the House") as Milo and
Justin Roiland ("The Sarah Silverman Program") as Oscar. New episodes
of "Fish Hooks" air Fridays on Disney Channel.
Disney/ABC
Television Group's Digital Media team has launched several new
groundbreaking apps that have been a hit with kids and parents this
summer. "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Road Rally Appisode" is the first in a
series of full length shows for iPad that feature an unprecedented level
of interactivity.
"WATCH Disney Channel," "WATCH Disney Junior" and
"WATCH Disney XD" make full length episodes of popular shows available
on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Comcast Xfinity customers can access
live feeds of the networks, as well as first looks and sneak peeks.
With
"Jake's Never Land Pirate School," kids can become completely immersed
in Never Land, completing pirate-themed challenges presented in Sailing,
Pirate Band, Map and Spyglass and Pixie Dust classes.
The Fish Hooks App is available for free from the App Store on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch or at www.itunes.com/appstore/.

Star Wars Spoof: Space Robots in Outer Space Ep X: Battle for the Halcyon: The Last Starcruiser

Sure, Star Wars is cool and all. But let’s not forget about that other multi-part sci-fi cinematic spectacular, “Space Robots in Outer Space.” In fact, Hank Lonely (Hollywood’s ultimate hyphenate — actor / producer / director / writer / guy who makes sure the Porto Potties are kept squeaky-clean) just announced that there’ll soon be a 10th installment of this … Well, not exactly beloved. How about we say “admired from afar” instead? … series coming to a theater near you. In fact, here’s the highly anticipated teaser trailer for that project. Which is supposed to be titled “Space Robots in Outer Space X — Battle for the Halycon: The Last Starcruiser.”
Okay. Now the real story … In honor of Star Wars Day (i.e., May 4th. As in “May the Fourth Be With You”), Len Testa and I are sharing something that we produced with the help of all the nice folks who joined us last month aboard the Halycon.
We turned the Galactic Starcruiser as well as Black Spire Outpost into the backdrop for an affectionate send-up of all things Stars Wars. We hope that you (more importantly, the legal team at Lucasfilm) take this faux trailer in the spirit with which it was intended. Special thanks to Aaron Adams for so skillfully stitching all of this footage together. Also thanks to the team at Storybook Destinations, Touring Plans and the talented cast & crew aboard the “Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser” for making this “Disney Dish” fan event so memorable.
